When it comes to the most inevitable, most agonizing suffering in life, a bad haircut may be taken into consideration, especially for girls. Try to image that. Everyone wants to have a stunning hairdo at a salon. But what if you only leave with a stupid haircut or coloring fail?
I’m sure you must be distraught. But this does nothing with your terrible ‘do. What you should do is to remedy the traumatic situation. Here are 7 tips for reference.
- Take a deep breath
Although it sounds simple, it does work. Every time you run into a terrible haircut, it is highly possible that you can not help thinking about it, talking about it, or looking at it in the mirror. The more you do, the more upset you will get. The fact is that, no matter how angry you are, time can not go back. Therefore, remind yourself to calm down, take a breathe, and then pass it over.
- Don’t DIY
Do you really think you can make the new ‘do only by yourself? Don’t be silly! Unless you have gone to cosmetology school, you will probably make it worse. Some of you may share the same experience that you make your fringe more terrible after your trimming.
- Use a curling iron
Sometimes curls can conceal some traumas of hair, like awkward colors, and terrible cut. If you suffer from a terrible haircut, you can use your curling iron to remedy it. For example, you can use a curling iron to deal with super-short layers without going the extensions route.
- Don’t neglect your makeup
Even though your confidence may fade because of a terrible haircut, don’t be a loser in other factors. Pick up your makeup bag, and put on a delicate makeup, then put on your favorite outfit. There is no way that you always wear a depressing expression.
5. Have the ‘do fixed again
Ask the guy, or other hairstylist at the salon to fix your ‘do, in case of a very disappointing result. Most of the case, they are willing to do their best to repair it, as it is their fault to trap you in such a situation.
6. Get it restyled somewhere else.
Occasionally, your request for a better fixing may be rejected by the original salon, or they fail to make it better. Therefore, you may need to go to another salon. Although it will cost additional amount of money, the result may prove that it is worthy.
7. Make it clear that what you need
You should know clearly what you really need. For example, if you want a lighter underside, lowlights to darken the top, explain it clearly to your hairstylist. Besides, pay attention to what the hairstylist does to your hair, and remind him/her the exact length or color that you want.
Surely you do not want to run into a terrible haircut that needs covering by a wig, so, take the above suggestions into consideration. Or if you have any good ideas, share with us via Facebook or Instagram.
Hair extensions surely can be of assistance when it comes to adding length and volume to your hair. But do you make it clear what types of hair extensions are suitable for you? To solve the problem, we pick up some tips offered by beauty expert Grace, which are about how to select hair extensions properly, as well as how to take good care of them.
Grace surely specializes in hair extensions, being familiar with how to pick the perfect extensions and how to properly care for them. She has been working in hair extensions industry for many years. Being an expert in Hair Plus Base, she has offered thousands pieces of advice. She especially specializes in the virgin hair extensions. Carry on the below content and check what the hair expert had offered.
“How to select hair extensions? For me, I need to take the below factors into consideration,” she said.
Human hair or not?
Human hair extensions, especially virgin human hair extensions, overturn those of synthetic fiber. “It is of importance to make sure the hair is virgin human hair, as this type of hair has not undergone heating or chemical process,” Grace suggested.
How it’s made?
“It works if you make it clear whether the hair has been properly wefted,” she said, “Whether the cuticles run the same direction can help ensure if the hair is of high quality or not. The hair tends to be of high quality and long lasting if the cuticles align.”
What it’s non-virgin hair?
Opposite to virgin hair, non-virgin hair means hair dyed or process in any way. It usually has a silicon, and is kind of waxy. “Compared with synthetic fiber hair, human hair extensions tend to be better. But for the perfect use, virgin human hair extensions are the best and worth the investment,” Grace added.
How to take care of hair extensions ?
Prevent from shedding.
It is necessary to prevent from shedding occurring to hair extensions. “To protect your extensions from shedding, you can buy Dritz glue from Walmart and then apply to the linking of your extensions. As the glue is clear, it will not show up on your tracks,” the beauty guru suggested.
Wash and dry them well.
Always wash your extensions using lukewarm water and air dry them all the time. “You are suggested not blow drying your extensions to avoid damaging the hair,” said Grace.
Combing from the bottom up.
“You should comb your extensions from the bottom up and avoid combing them from the root, because these can prevent the shedding of your extensions,” Grace explained.
Surely all sorts of hairstyles, like ponytails, bob, and updo, receive respective popularity. But when it comes to the ones being most popular, the casual should be taken into consideration. Why? We have to admit that, even though there are fancy events where we would like something fascinating that make us more charming, most of our days are more casual than that. Therefore, casual hairstyles, such as ponytails, are becoming popular and popular.
But sometimes we may be tired of wearing a simple ponytails. So, a casual, romantic ponytail that looks sophisticated but is easy to style meets our requirement, just like this one: twisted low ponytail.
Here is the tutorial of this ‘do that can be of some assistance for you to recreate this glamorous low ponytail.
Step 1: Backcomb The Hair On The Crown Of Your Head
In order to create some texture and volume for the whole style, start with teasing out the hair around your crown lightly with a comb. Additional texture and volume can make the final result look dimensional and vivid. When teasing the hair, you are suggested backcombing it at one angle and then keeping going.
Step 2: Create A Half Ponytail And Then Twist
After finishing the backcombing, gently gather all the hair back into a half ponytail. Make sure that you do this slightly so as to reduce the tangled but not to pull out the tease entirely, because the volume does well in creating a stunning overall look. Slightly twist the ponytail to the right three to four times, then push up to add some volume. Pin to secure the twisted section.
Step 3: Separate One Section Of Hair In Each Side Respectively
Grab one section of hair from each side equally, and then set them aside. After that, style the remaining hair into a low ponytail using a clear elastic.
Step 4: Wrap The Left Sections Around The Ponytail
Wrap the left section around the pony clockwise, and secure it with bobby pins. Then wrap the right side anticlockwise and pin to secure it. It will kook better if you finish with a hair spray.
Which star never rocks no hair extensions? We can’t make it clear. But surely only a small amount does. Hair extensions and wigs reveal the secret of celebrities’ even changing hairdos, once of bob, once of long waves. Hair extensions have been all the rage.
I once consider Lucy Mecklenburgh as one of the member of the small amount. It proves that I have to change my mind.
The former The Only Way is Essex has switched her short ‘do to luscious long tresses. She debuted her freshly styled hair makeover on Instagram on Thursday. She loves the new look so much. When posting the pic, she caption: “NEW LONG LOCKS!! Love my new silk infused @balmainhairuk extensions by @kennadyssalon @rickyprady #nofilter #natural #selfie.”
With her camera lifted high, Lucy Mecklenburgh took a pic of her, wearing nude makeup, showing her going back to a longer ‘do. We have to admit that she looks so stunning in the brand new long locks.
Recently, another hot issue about the Essex stunner must be relative to her ex, her former The Only Way is Essex co-star Mario Falcone, who took thinly-veiled swipe at his ex-lover, just to defended new girlfriend from cruel critics.
He even told new!magazine that Lucy was definitely a loser if compared with his new girlfriend.
“The comparisons to Lucy are getting a bit tiresome. Lucy and her are very different,” he said, “Lucy will put on a full face of makeup to go to Sainsbury’s - Emma won’t. Emma’s a natural beauty, she doesn’t feel the need to…The only comparison is they have dark hair and have both been linked to me.”
Although Lucy has been in love with Louis Smith, I still can not help wondering whether she was blind before and when dating with Mario.
